Project Manager (Permanent)

Location: North West England Country: UK Rate: £55k - £60k per annum
 

An excellent opportunity to join a leading UK transport operator as a Project Manager.

Client Details

My client is a leading UK transport operator. They are searching for a Project Manager to join their team to manage a range of exciting projects.

In this role, you will be responsible for the planning and execution of IT change projects in line with company goals and strategy.

This is a permanent role which offers hybrid working, based in the NW and Yorkshire.

Description

  • E2E project life cycle management using appropriate methodologies to ensure projects are delivered on time, to budget and agreed outcome.
  • Producing and managing high quality project documentation
  • Facilitating the definition of project scope, goals and deliverables.
  • Project planning including activity and task definition, working with relevant subject matter experts and stakeholders to define.
  • Planning and communicating project timelines, highlighting changes to baseline.
  • Implementing change control mechanisms and ensuring change requests are managed.
  • Assessing impact against project scope, requirements, budget and timeline and communicating to stakeholders as required.

Profile

  • 5 years' experience working within Project Management and/or other relevant roles
  • Certified PRINCE2 Practitioner
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • Attention to detail
  • Strong multi-tasking skills and ability to work under pressure to achieve deadlines
